January 6th 6-8pm Wyld Life Leadership with the Young Life crew at Trevor Felkner's apartment 485 Pleasanton rd. Apt. 11 Westminster MD 21157. Bring your bible and a couple bucks for pizza.

January 8th 7-9pm FISH at the Kraus house 5804 Hanna road Sykesville MD 21784. Bring your bible, your journal, a pen, and a snack or dessert to share. This event is for evangelism training for those high school aged and older.

January 13th 7-9pm Wyld Life in the LCS gym. This is an outreach event for middle school students so all you have to bring is a friend!

January 15th 7-8:30pm X-Factor: Manhunt. Manhunt is team hide-and-go-seek in the church, in the dark. Bring your bible and a friend as we continue our series on "How things get fixed."

January 22nd 12:30-2pm Parents meeting. Immediately following the service parents and families are invited to come downstairs to the fellowship hall and share a potluck meal together. We'll then discuss Youth Ministry at Liberty, the spring schedule, and the summer mission trip. Each family please bring food to share. We'll provide drinks and plasticware.

January 22nd 7-8:30pm X-Factor: Capture the Flag Bring your jacket and gloves to stay warm in this fast action, outdoor game. Don't forget to invite your friends & bring your bible.

January 29th 6-8pm Congregational Meeting Youth, we'll be serving either in babysitting or helping serve food so please come ready to put others first.

Benefit Concerts: The Christmas concerts benefitting the Samaritan Women are in need of some babysitting services. We have some folks already lined up to help out with nursery and Noah's ark for Sunday afternoon but we could still use some more help for Friday night. at 7:30 pm in the nursery. Wyld Life leadership is scheduled for 4:00 at the block house this Sunday. (may be subject to change call Nick for confirmation 443-286-5886)

Wyld Life will be held next friday 12.9.11 and the youth group Christmas Party will be held next Sunday night 12.11.11. The Christmas Party will be held in the block house. Bring a wrapped gag gift as usual and we will have a super-fun gift exchange.

At this point we're going to cancel the X-Factor scheduled for December 18th. (The Hathaways will be going caroling. Call me if you're interested.)

I, Nick, will be preaching at Gracepoint, a PCA church in Glen Burnie, this weekend. Their pastor is in his 3rd round of chemo and our session has directed me to assist them. I know that Gracepoint would appreciate prayers for their pastor in this time. I will not be at worship in the morning but will be back at church for the afternoon concert.

This weekend we have an opportunity to serve our friends the Cotes by helping clean Hank Cote's house in Boring, MD. We'll start our workday at 8am at 4617 Piney grove rd Reisterstown, MD 21136. Feel free to bring work gloves and/or cleaning supplies. If you'd like to carpool or want more information call Nick at 443-286-5886. Families are welcome. (Aiden, Sophie, Clip, and Martin will be there.)

Wyld Life, Flag Football, and Fall Festival

Wyld Life Octoberfest! This Friday from 7-9pm middle school students from all over are welcome to join us for a fun evening of games, songs, and smashing pumpkins. I will be talking about why I'm convinced there is a God, so it's a good night to bring a non-Christian friend along. Hosted by Liberty Christian School in the gym. Parents, youth always appreciate snacks if you bring them.

X-Factor: Flag Football. This Sunday night from 7-8:30 for middle school and high school students. Wear your sneakers, not your cleats. We'll play some flag football and then continue our series on "How things get fixed."

Fall Festival. October 28th from 5:30-8pm. This is a great event that reaches out to bless hundreds in our community. We'll have games, candy, a petting zoo, moonbounce, gaga, bonfire, and a snack bar (to benefit the Costa Rica mission trip.) We need all sorts of help to make this event a success. We need candy and lots of it. Please bring it up to the church this weekend. We could use any mums, pumpkins, cornstalks, or hay you will let us borrow for decoration (and then we'll give it back.) We also primarily need volunteers to help the middle schoolers help the little kids with the games. If you're interested please see me after church in the back of the main sanctuary this sunday.

X-Factor: Photo Scavenger Hunt

When: 7-8:30pm Sunday Oct. 9^th

Where: 11301 Liberty road Owings Mills
MD 21117. At the little white building.
Who: 6^th-12^th
grade students. Parents are always welcome to join in the fun.
Why: As an excuse to get together and
worship the Lord and hear teaching from his Word. We’re studying “How things
get fixed” and this week Pastor Russ will be talking to us about becoming
renewed by being given new life from God. This is known as regeneration.
What: Bring a digital camera or phone
capable of transferring pictures to a laptop. We’ll form into teams and then
compete to see which team can take all of the assigned pictures of your group
in the allotted time. Then we’ll come back and watch the pictures on slideshow and
determine a winner. Extra point for each photo that is taken remotely. Extra points for photobombing (smiling, looking at camera in other group’s shot.)

If you love having a good time with friends, deepening your walk with Christ, learningfundamental leadership principles and putting them into practice, then considerjoining our team of Wyld Life leaders.
Wyld Life is a nondenominational, international, Christ-centered ministry to middle
school students. We utilize Wyld Life principles and strategy to minister to
Liberty Christian School middle schoolers and their friends. We hang out with
middle schoolers and get to know them. We run a club for them that is fun,
funny, and spiritually on their level.

What are you passionate about? Chances are you talk about it; you can't help it. Whether it's Ravens football, Band camp, Airsoft weaponry, or the latest novel, you naturally talk and exude excitement about whatever you love. What if we loved God so much that we couldn't help but talk about him? That's what evangelism is like. A person whose heart is so captivated by Christ that he or she can't help but talk about the Lord.
This year in F.I.S.H. (fellowship in studen'ts homes) we'll be training high school students for evangelism just like we have in the past. This year we'll be working on sharing the gospel in our own words, through our own story, in our own book, speaking out of our own passion for Christ. The first Sunday night of each month we'll be meeting at some student's house to hang, chat, munch, drink, play, write and read. Each youth will be given a journal to practice writing whatever the prompt is for the evening and then...we'll share what we've written.
F.I.S.H. will meet this sunday September 4th from 7-9m at 2608 Amanda Court Woodstock MD 21163. (at Claire's.) It's for high school students though parents are always welcome to come.

Hey youth the Joni and Friends Mission Team needs your help at the car wash this Saturday from 8-12am (or whenever you can join us.) Bring your squirt gun and we'll have a water battle.

For the last X-Factor of the year we'll be playing ZOMBIES! so you've got to come play this fun game and watch and discuss the last Gospel Journey. Sunday May 22nd from 7-9pm.

Parents, just a reminder that there's a parents meeting at the Hathaway's from 8-9:30pm on Tuesday night to talk about plans for this summer and to assess the spring.

The Summer Missions team needs your help! We will be having our Car Wash here at the church this Saturday to raise money for our trip to Joni and Friends Spruce Lake Family Camp. Serve the City this Saturday

Our day will begin at 8:00 AM with a morning registration gathering at the Roosevelt Park Recreation Center in Hampden. A light breakfast will be provided for all our volunteers as well as an opportunity to hear more about Serve Greater Baltimore. A limited number of t-shirts will be available first come, first serve.

The Roosevelt Park Recreation Center is located at:

1221 W. 36th Street Baltimore, MD 21211

There will be ample street parking and overflow parking at the independent school across the street.

At 9:00 AM, we will depart from Roosevelt Park to our various work projects throughout the city. You will be given all the information and directions needed for your project. You will also be given a boxed lunch. We will be traveling to the Samaritan Women's Project located at:

602 S. Chapel Gate Lane, Baltimore, Maryland 21229

Once our work projects wrap up, all are invited return to the Roosevelt Park Recreation Center at 4:00 PM for a closing celebration and debrief. Food will be provided at the closing celebration.

X-Factor, Serve The City, 30 hour famine

No Wyld Life leaders meeting this Sunday March 20th. It will be postponed until April 3rd.

We'll be having X-Factor this sunday night, March 20th, from 7-9pm at the block house. We'll try to be done the Gospel Journey video by 8:30pm but our discussions have been going over until 9pm. This week we're discussing "Religion or a Relationship," and how do we know what we know.

Serve the City. March 26th. We'll be meeting at 8am at the Roosevelt Park Recreation Center in Baltimore. If you need a ride down there give Nick a call, otherwise we hope you come with your parents, this is a great opportunity for youth and parents to advance the kingdom. We will plan on working at Samaritan Women Project. Last year we were done around 5:30 pm at Roosevelt Park Recreation Center. RSVP to Nick at 410-655-5466.

30 Hour Famine. Remember to get sponsors to feed the hungry. Hey middle schoolers and high schoolers don't miss this! We're starting a new video series where a jew, a mormon, a muslim, a new ager, a buddhist, and a seventh day adventist go on a trip to Maui and have lots of spiritual conversations with evangelist Greg Steir. It's an engaging show and we'll actually be using it to train ourselves how to share the gospel in these situations.

7-8:30pm this sunday at the block house. Of course we'll have games, and worship and hanging out. Parents are always welcome to come join us. Oh and bring your bible if you've got one.

Also, Wyld life leaders, we're not going to have Wyld life leadership this weekend. The plan is to try for right after church on Superbowl Sunday. Feb 6 1pm at the Hathaway home.

December 22nd meet at 7 pm at Liberty Church PCA. Everybody and anybody is welcome.

We'll walk around to the houses that surround Liberty Church singing some carols to our neighbors. This is one of the few times a year when its still socially acceptable to go calling on our neighbors. And we want to say a little thank you to these folks for being good neighbors to us. Finally we'll return to Liberty for some hot chocolate. I think we'll finish around 8:30pm.

Guys Overnight

Middle and High School guys: assemble at 1600 (8pm) at 11301 Liberty rd. Owings Mills MD on December 28th. Bring your sleeping bag, eye protection, airsoft gun, and ammo.

We will commence with hand to hand combat training immediately upon arrival in the gym. We will be using boxing gloves and boffing weapons.

This will be followed by a debriefing on how the gospel applies to soldiers.

Next you may choose between honing your combat prowess in a black ops tournament in the block house or honing your battle strategy with a game of Warhammer Fantasy Battle.

At 0100 soldiers will report to their bunks.

At 0800 the next morning we will conduct several airsoft operations in the woods surrounding the compound. If you are a non-combatant you may play board games in the block building.

Pick up is at 1100 hours in the morning.

X-Factor: the body

Come join us for X-Factor. We call it X-Factor because you never know what we're going to be doing, (games, mixers, skits, competitions) so you have to come find out. But there is one thing that you know we'll always be doing: talking about how the cross (X) factors into our lives.

This event is for middle and high school students who just want to hang out with their friends and praise God on Sunday night. It's for those who want to go deeper in their faith by learning what the Bible teaches about certain topics, in this case, what the Bible says about how the church is like a body.

We meet at the block house, the little white building, at Liberty Church PCA 11301 Liberty rd. Owings Mills, MD 21117. The block house has Wii, N64, ping pong, foosball, board games and comfy couches, and right outside we have a basketball court and soccer field (and swings =).

We meet biweekly from 7-8:30pm on Sunday nights. We meet this sunday Nov. 21st.

Why come? Maybe you think you're fine just being a Christian on your own, you don't need anybody else, you're not a fan of organized religion, or Jesus' fanclub. Maybe you think you don't need to do "church" unless it entertains you. We will talk about how the scripture addresses those concerns.

9am: Depart to Samaritan Women's Project located at 526 and 600 South Chapel Gate lane Baltimore MD 21229. Park at Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents parking lot. We'll be helping rehabilitate a building that will be used for transitional housing for young women. (either that or working on creating a community garden)

12noon: Depart to Christian Community Center of Baltimore (where we've been before) in order to help clean up an alleyway and hang out with the inner city youth.

4pm: Depart Christian Community Center and return to Roosevelt Park for OUTBACK dinner and closing ceremony.

Fall Harvest Festival

This Friday from 5:30-8:00pm we'll be hosting a great party for kids at Liberty Christian School and we need your help.

Please consider coming to help from either 4:00-6:30pm or from 6:30-9:00pm. We need your help running games (like basketball shoot, soccer score, beanbag toss, dart gun, squirt gun, football throw, for little kids so that they can win candy. We need help distributing the candy, helping kids create bags and cookies. We need help face-painting.

This is an awesome chance to reach out to the community, over 300 people have come in the past and we present the gospel. Please consider inviting some friends or relatives that have little kids.

We'll have games for candy prizes, facepainting, bag decorating, a moonbounce, a petting zoo, a bonfire, and lord-willing a hayride and hay maze.

Get something to eat at the concession stand and all proceeds will go toward the Costa Rica Missions trip.

We'll set up positions for airsoft the following morning.

When? Be there 6am sharp! We'll leave by 6:15am because there's going to be alot of traffic on the fourth of july weekend. We'll be returning at 9pm to the church.

What to do? Call or message Nick if you're coming so we can make sure we have enough seats for everybody.

Who can come? This is a family event, so bring the whole crew, bring a friend, bring a neighbor.

What to bring? Sunscreen, MODEST swimsuit, Money for dinner, breakfast and lunch in a bag (or more money to buy it; there's a snack bar) and other beach paraphenalia (we may not be able to bring everything but we can try.) If you're driving there's a $3 toll for the bridge and an $8 parking fee.

Where? Meet at the church and we'll carpool to Delaware Seashore state park between Bethany and Dewey beaches. It's the big concrete cylinders on the seaside.

Why? To enjoy God's creation and encourage one another.

2) Pool Party is now on June 13th from 6-8pm at the Vance's 1488 Rack Point drive Finksburg, MD 21048. Those entering 6th grade all the way through our recent graduates are welcome. Parents are welcome to stick around as always. Bring a side, we'll provide the hot dogs, buns, and paper goods.

Each pool party we'll be hearing from the parents of someone in the youth group. They'll share with us how God has worked in their lives. They weren't always parents and they were once youth, believe it or not, and they've got some great stories to share about God's grace.

This pool party only we'll be kicking off our summer theme: Minute to Win It. There will be competitions all summer long to see who can "win it in a minute." Featuring games like: Caddy stack (pictured above,) bobblehead, buckethead, card ninja and many more. Prize giveaways!

Acquire the Fire: May 7-8th $50 due May 2nd

You've got to come to this! It's a chance for you and your friends to hear the good news in a powerful and invigorating way. 5 Concerts featuring: Unhindered, Lecrae, Abandon, Stephanie Smith, and The Almost. Ron Luce and Mike Guzzardo will be among those who speak to us. They're engaging speakers who have spoken to over 200,000 people annually just at Acquire the Fire events. You'll experience heavenly worship as we get to praise God with a huge host of thousands of teenagers filling 1st mariner arena.

Meet at 5pm at the church and we'll carpool down to 1st mariner arena. We'll be hanging out together Friday night, spending the night at Liberty church, and then going back down to Baltimore all day until we break at 9:30pm. We should arrive back at church at around 10:45pm.

All this plus dinner, breakfast, lunch and dinner again for just $50. RSVP and get your money in to Melissa by may 2nd. You'll need to bring a change of clothes, a sleeping bag, toiletries, and any spending cash for merchandise. Optional: cell phone, bible (they project the scripture they're preaching from and they give you pamphlets and pens.)

This is a great chance also to invite friends to hear the gospel in a powerful and engaging way. For middle school and up, Parents are welcome.

His house is the first on the right. If you're coming from Randallstown, take a left on Chapman and then a right on Colorado.

F.I.S.H. Did Jesus really die? Did he really rise?

We'll be playing a vicious new game called Ninja: easy to learn, difficult to master. It's a safe and fun game WHERE YOU GET TO HIT PEOPLE! And try out your best ninj-isms like: "I'm so ninja you don't even know I'm ninja." "Don't make me go all ninja on you." "Who ninjed my ipod?" and "Careful, you are within roundhouse range." and of course the ubiquitous "Hi Yah!"

We'll also be talking about what it is to be human. One of the most important questions we can ask and answer is "Who am I?" So, if you're a 6th-12th grader, come to X-Factor 7-8:30pm this Sunday, March 21st at the block house. Bring a snack, bring a friend, and bring your ninja skills.

Oh and if you are a wyld life leader, we'll be meeting at the Carback's at 4pm for wyld life leadership. Please bring your bible and a dessert to share.

30 hour famine: starving to feed the hungry

The event: Meet at the block house at 8pm on Friday night, February 27th. We'll play TRIBE games like last year to build hunger awareness. Then we'll have free time to play games and then go to sleep. In the morning we'll wake up and have devotions, play a game, and then make lunches to take down into Baltimore to feed the hungry. We'll carpool into Baltimore to drop off sandwiches at two locations. Then we'll come back to church to play a couple more games and then make our own dinner which we'll eat at 6pm in the Fellowship Hall. You can be picked up anytime after 6pm.

What to bring: Your donation packet, your own donation (if you have one,) a sleeping bag and pillow, any games you want to play.

Doing the Famine: We will start fasting at 12 noon on Friday and go 30 hours until 6pm on Saturday. This means only drinking water. If you need to do a modified fast for health reasons you can modify it accordingly. But be prepared to pack your own food and eat it in private so that we'll be less tempted to steal all your food away. =)

Getting Donations: You can still get donations by taking your famine packet and tellling neighbors that every day 26,000 children die of preventable causes like hunger that we're fighting to prevent. Theologian Francis Schaeffer referred to human beings as “glorious ruins.” Glorious because we were made in the image of God to rule creation, Ruins because in our sin we fell and brought upon ourselves the destructive judgment of God. Join us for a weekend of growth as we look for answers in God’s word.

Games, music, skits, great food, and engaging talks await you at the scenic Charter Hall, a happy cluster of buildings nestled between the Chesapeake Bay and Furnace Bay

Leave your electronics behind and enjoy the fun and fellowship of Liberty’s annual Spring Charge. We call it a charge because we’re not retreating, from our problems, but charging up on biblical truth that will equip us to charge forth into life with new spirit. Who: 6th-12 graders. In J.R.R. Tolkien’s book “The Two Towers” things look pretty bad for protagonists Frodo and Sam. It looks like evil is succeeding, righteousness perishing, and the natural world darkening. They’re alone. They’re surrounded. They’re small. Yet they have an epic task to accomplish.

“Standing there for a moment filled with dread Frodo became aware that a light was shining; ...The brief glow fell upon a huge sitting figure, still and solemn as the great stone kings of Argonath. The years had gnawed it, and violent hands had maimed it. Its head was gone, and in its place was set in mockery a round rough-hewn stone, rudely painted by savage hands in the likeness of a grinning face with one large red eye in the midst of its forehead. Upon its knees and mighty chair, and all about the pedestal, were idle scrawls mixed with the foul symbols that the maggot-folk of Mordor used. Humanity is like that statue. Once glorious but now ruined. On this trip we hope to catch a glimpse of who we really are and who we shall become in Christ.

Pastor Bedford Otey (pronounced "Oh-tee") and his family moved to Bozeman to become the pastor of Springhill Church in August of 2008. grew up in Memphis, TN and became a believer in Christ at a young age. completing his undergraduate degree in Biblical Studies at Crichton College he took a job for 3 years as the Sr. High/College Pastor at Grace Evangelical Church in Germantown, TN. that time he met and married the love of his life, Robin, who had moved to Memphis to dance for the professional Ballet company. they left for Covenant Seminary in St. Louis in 2002 and he graduated with his Masters of Divinity in 2005. was then called as the Pastor of Evening Worship at Central Presbyterian Church in St. Louis where he was responsible for developing and implementing a new Sunday evening, evangelistic/outreach worship service. Annie and I are away on vacation this next week so I'm posting this before I go.

Sunday, Jan. 24th at 7pm we'll be having X-Factor. It will also be a time for parents and youth to hear details about our missions trip to Chattanooga this summer.

And Pastor Russ is actually coming to help us better answer the question, "Who is God?" As always there will be plenty of fun things to do and people to hang with.

This is one of the few times of year where its still socially acceptable to go around to neighbors' houses. It's more socially acceptable if you're singing in tune. It's more socially acceptable if you aren't dressed in tights and an elf costume. Please join us in spreading the good news of Christmas to Liberty's neighbors.

This event is open to anyone. Bring your family or friends or both to Liberty Church PCA 11301 Liberty road (meet at the block house) at 7pm on Sunday December 20th. We'll be walking around to the church's closest neighbors so bring a warm coat, a flashlight, and a dessert to share afterwards. We'll provide the song sheets and the hot chocolate. I'm warning you our gift exchange can get a little crazy. There's no limit on how many times something can be "stolen" but there is a time limit... 30 seconds. Liberty Church PCA invites you to join them in a night of free fun at the Fall Harvest Festival, October 30th 5:30-9pm in the Liberty Christian School gym located at 11301 Liberty rd Owings Mills MD 21117.

Children can choose from petting farm animals, playing games to win candy, riding on the hayride, jumping and sliding in a deluxe moonbounce, basking in the glow of a bonfire, or enjoying snacks at the concession stand.

Youth of all ages are welcome. Costumes are encouraged, but nothing scary please.

This event is totally free. And all proceeds from concessions go to support the Liberty Christian School 8th grade missions trip to Costa Rica.

As usual we'll have all our other fun things to do at x-factor like: Bond, Wii tennis, foosball, ping pong, basketball, skateboarding, jungle gym and swings =), and field games (football?)

Also, we'll be learning about God. This week we'll focus on God's deeds. You can't know much about a person apart from their actions so we'll be focusing on how what God has done, reveals who he is.

What: Serve the City! We'll be staffing two projects: Nathan's house and Faith Christian Fellowship car wash. At Nathan's house we'll be hanging drywall, spackling, taping, painting, cleaning, and perhaps planting. At Faith Christian Fellowship we'll be washing, drying, cleaning, detailing, vacuuming cars, and interacting with Baltimore folks.

Where: The Faith Christian Fellowship group will be working at 505 E. 42nd Street Baltimore, MD 21218 and Nathan's house is in Randallstown, coming from the west you take a right on Chapman and then a right on Colorado and it's the first house on your right. We will be meeting for dinner at the Virginia S. Baker Rec. Center at Patterson Park 27 south Patterson Park Avenue, Baltimore, at 4:30 for a celebration and catered Outback dinner.

Who: Youth, Families, drivers, friends, christians and non-christians welcome.

How Much: $10 suggested donation. Make checks out to "Chapelgate Presbyterian Church"

Why: Referring to himself, Jesus said, "The son of man came not to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many." And since the servant is not greater than his master, we too should come to serve and not to be served.

What else: Wear your "Serve the City" T-shirts if you have one. Bring a paintbrush, gloves, or a rag. Oh, and a bag lunch is already provided for you.

Greg Walker was a fellow follower of Christ, English major, music aficionado, and St. Mary's college student with me. Late nights would find Greg plucking his guitar and vocal chords whilst picking people's brains about their spiritual conditions. This guy has a incomparable passion and a unique musical gift. He offers both of these in submission to his savior as a sacrifice of worship.

Daniel Coulbourne is the eldest son of Craig and Ree, missionaries to Japan, currently residing in Liberty's missions house. Ever since arriving back in the U.S. Daniel has been using his musical giftedness to help God's people come and worship him. Daniel's artistic ingenue is matched only by his prophetic passion to challenge laccadaisacal Christianity.

This event isn't officially sponsored by the youth ministry but I thought it was worthy of note. The time and content of this event would be more for high school age youth and adults.

Some religions make the claim that their god is the only way to experience eternal life in heaven. Others suggest that there are in fact many gods who require our worship. Moreover, there are others who infer that there are actually a multitude of avenues by which people can make it to heaven. What does the Bible have to say about this dilemma? Join us at X-Factor as we take a look at some of the world's most prominent religions. An overview will provided of each religion's beliefs with a focus being place on these religious worldviews and what the Bible has to say about them.

Who: Students from 6-12th grade will meet in four small groups: older guys, younger guys, older girls, and younger girls. With leaders: Nick, Todd, Dave, and Jared. Annie, Carrie, Melissa, and Becky.
What: We’ll be memorizing scripture, studying purity, holding one another accountable, and praying for one another.
When: Thursday nights from 7:30-8:30pm June 11th-August 27th
Where: Guys at the Carbacks 1491 Rack point dr. and Girls at the Vances 1488 Rack point dr. Finksburg
Why: To pursue purity and holiness because the Lord our God is pure and holy.

In this order, memorize a verse before coming to small group.
1. Holy as I am holy 1 pet. 1:14-16 As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, "You shall be holy, for I am holy."
2. Confess your sins 1Jn 1:8,9 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
3. Flee temptation Body a Temple 1 Corinthians 6:18-19a Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God?
4. Temptation, a way out… 1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
5. Resist the Devil James 4:7,8 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
6. Abstain from sexual immorality 1 Thes. 4:3-5 For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God;
7. no crude talk Eph. 5:3-4 But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving.
